Tatjana grew up on the East coast but has always been drawn to the West and received a BS in Mathematics at Caltech. She then moved back East, first working at the NIH developing imaging software to detect bone cancer in CT scans, and then going on to earn a MS in Neural Computation at Carnegie Mellon, where she modeled the effects of attention on neural activity. She then discovered her passion for software engineering and worked in the financial sector for two years, moving from data analytics to developing and maintaining the messaging layer of a large e-trading platform. Feeling called back to her roots in science (and to the mountains), she is excited to be in Salt Lake City applying her software engineering skills to solve problems in healthcare. Outside of work, she enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking with her dog.
