Sarah obtained her Master of Science in Animal and Veterinary Science at the University of Maine, a short 2 year stint at NIH as a research fellow working for NIMH followed by a PhD in Immunology and Microbiology from the University of Florida (working the east coast of the US). After completing her PhD, she joined Art Friedlander’s group at USAMRIID working on the next generation anthrax vaccines. Sarah eventually transition into Project Management and obtained her PMP certification. Sarah is able to bring her technical and scientific knowledge to the team to provide a strong foundation that allows her to help program teams navigate the constantly changing dynamics of a project while ensuring the stakeholder’s needs are met with high quality work.
Sarah is a recent transplant to Utah having taken the program manager position at Recursion. She is excited to explore all that Utah has to offer. When not in the office you can find her hiking, camping, killing the Stairmaster at the local gym or putting in some hours working on her Olympic lifting or enjoying a brutal CrossFit WOD (for fun)!
