Pam has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology managing in vitro core facilities and cGMP production. Pam began her career at Baxter Healthcare in Illinois, leading their retroviral transduction facility to support gene therapy efforts. As Manager for the NPS Pharmaceuticals Tissue Culture Core Facility, she provided gene delivery and expression services in support of small molecule drug development that included successful collaborations with Amgen and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Most recently, Pam served as the Technical Manager of the Cell Therapy and Regenerative Medicine Facility (CTRM) at the University of Utah, where she was responsible for the processing of hematopoietic progenitor cell products for bone marrow transplant, and the development of novel cellular therapies for early phase clinical trial efforts. Pam has a strong background in Quality Assurance; has been an inspector for the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) since 2010; and is dedicated to the safe, high quality, consistent production of human cell and tissue-based products and cell culture resources. Outside of work, Pam snowshoes the beautiful Wasatch trails in winter and hikes them in the summer with her family.
