I earned my bachelors in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Eastern Kentucky University. Following college I was employed as an analytical chemist for the United States Equestrian Federation. In this position I was doing anything from receiving and extracting samples (equine urine and plasma) to developing methods and analyzing results. The lab was eventually purchased by the University of Kentucky where I continued to conduct analytical analysis of equine samples.
In my personal time I enjoy almost anything outdoors as well as video games and reading.
