Katy received her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin and her law degree at the College of William and Mary in Virginia. After practicing as a traditional biglaw associate for several years, Katy went in-house at a large pharmaceutical company and began specializing in the area of food and drug law, counseling in all areas of compliance, regulatory law, and corporate transactions. She followed this with a few more years of private practice before joining Recursion. When not at work she divides her time between various activities outdoors and reading as much as she can to herself or her kids.
