Ian Quigley, PhD, is an expert at integrating hands-on laboratory bench work with high-throughput approaches, and building the computational infrastructure required to extract meaning from that combination. He has focused on development, molecular biology, immunology, and genomics at Rice University, Baylor College of Medicine, UT-Austin, and the Salk Institute. He also worked extensively with the founding and acceleration of several startups through ScholarNexus, a San Diego-based biotech incubator. He is a big fan of measuring as many things as humanly possible to get an unbiased look at what’s going on. Beyond the lab, Ian’s inner itinerant climber is grateful to be back in the mountains and only 15 minutes away from a world-class crag.
