Briana got her Master’s in Psychology at Humboldt State University in California, studying a Parkinson’s disease model in zebrafish larvae. After graduating, she worked in Dr. Bonkowsky’s lab at the University of Utah, establishing a zebrafish model of Adrenoleukodystrophy disease, designing and implementing a behavioral drug screen in those larvae. When she is not working, you will likely find Briana playing agility, herding, disc, or hiking with her dog.
