Elissa received her PhD in Neuroscience in 2014 from the University of Utah, where she studied how drug-induced toxicity affected behavior and gene expression in the basal ganglia. She then was a postdoc at the University of Utah in a new lab focusing on the neurobiology of synaptic plasticity. Now she has joined the team at Recursion and is excited to contribute to fast-paced drug discovery. In her free time, Elissa loves to explore the natural beauty of Utah through hiking, off-roading, photography, skiing, and camping.
