Poised at the crossroads of biology and computation, Recursion is disrupting the pharmaceutical industry’s approach to drug discovery. Our unique platform leverages the most advanced high-throughput scalable biology, automation, and artificial intelligence to rapidly discover treatments for rare diseases, inflammatory diseases, immuno-oncology, cardiovascular disease, aging, and more.
Our approach to scalable, high-dimensional biology allows us to rapidly find potential treatments for many diseases at a rapid pace. Our Innovation and Enabling Biology team identifies advanced and relevant in vitro models, across a number of therapeutic areas, and advanced high-dimensional assays to advance the therapeutic boundaries of our platform. This team performs platform-enabling pilot experiments to validate new methods and assays before transitioning them to the High Throughput biology team.
HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
Your work as part of our Innovation and Enabling Biology team will significantly increase the speed of our drug discovery platform and will help us achieve our mission of discovering 100 treatments by 2025. Your primary goal will be to do whatever it takes to help us bring treatments to patients, and your responsibilities will include the use of traditional wet-bench techniques, tissue culture, microscopy, and various liquid handling machinery to help develop novel assays.
This role is ideal for you if you aren’t afraid of failure and you can think outside of the box to innovate and improve processes.
